Candidate statement

My principal place of residence is not in the Hamilton General Constituency area.

On council, I know how to get things done; providing clear direction, fostering inclusive leadership, and scrutinising rates responsibly.

I’ve supported community-led biodiversity and climate initiatives, improved public transport options like Te Huia, the Meteor bus and community shuttles, and championed energy and water security and reducing pollution.

Looking ahead, I’ll push reform and stronger collaboration across councils and with Parliament to deliver smarter shared-services and efficiencies.

I’m seeking re-election to build a more connected region where communities work together, essentials are affordable, and nature is respected.

Our environment underpins our health and prosperity. Success depends on how we work with each other and with nature to build true community wealth.

With degrees in science and sustainability, and leadership roles at Fonterra, I’ve led operational teams, supported compliance, and built community connections.
