We currently have a Summer Student role available, based in the heart of the North Island – Great Lake Taupō.

Spend your summer in the heart of the North Island, Great Lake Taupō! Join our Lake Taupō Catchment Management team and gain hands-on experience supporting property inspections, environmental programmes, and integrated catchment management projects. Work alongside landowners, iwi, and community stakeholders to help protect and enhance soil, water quality, and biodiversity across the Tūwharetoa Rohe.

We are seeking a Waikato-Tainui affiliated student with a passion for environmental management to join our Hamilton-based Catchment Management team for up to 15 weeks over summer. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental outcomes for the Waikato region through projects focused on soil conservation, water quality, biodiversity enhancement, and building strong partnerships with landowners and stakeholders.
