My principal place of residence is in the Taupo-Rotorua General Constituency area.

I was born in Taupo 57 years ago and have a strong personal connection to the Taupo/Rotorua region, especially its freshwater resources, which I view as precious taonga.

Childhood memories along the Waikato River and eeling with my father inspired my lifelong passion for protecting our waterways.

I have worked closely with farmers — many of whom care deeply about water quality despite public misconceptions. With rising costs and mortgage pressures on ratepayers, I believe any rate increases must be fair and balanced.

I bring over 20 years of governance experience as a Director, Trustee, and board member across health, farming, and environmental sectors, demonstrating consistent leadership and dedication.

I’m committed to representing our district with integrity and ensuring our water remains clean for future generations.

I respectfully seek your support in this election to continue advocating for the well-being of our community and the natural environment we all share.
