My principal place of residence is in the Hamilton General Constituency area.

Kia ora, I’m Bala Tikkisetty, standing for the Waikato Regional Council to represent Hamilton.

I bring over 25 years of experience working with regional councils, underpinned by a strong background in agricultural sciences (post-graduate), environmental sustainability and governance.

I offer practical, science-based solutions that support clean water, climate resilience, and a healthy natural environment.

My focus is on delivering value for your rates dollar through financial discipline, accountability, and well-planned investment in biodiversity, biosecurity, and affordable transport.

As a Justice of the Peace and long-time community advocate, I listen carefully and work collaboratively to ensure your voice is heard. I’m a strong networker and a pragmatic problem-solver who will represent Hamilton with integrity and action.
