Abstract

This report provides a summary of published literature on nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) losses from land to water that was carried out in theWaikato region or of relevance to it. It was based on a literature search of science publication databases, selected publications not available to web searches and AgResearch reports. An end-note library of references is provided with the report. In addition, a summary is provided of relevant on-going research projects and programmes such as from the Ministry of Science and Innovation (MSI), MAF Sustainable Farming Fund (SFF), University of Waikato and PhD studies.
