Coastal science

Current and new scientific data is really important in the review of the Regional Coastal Plan and the Regional Plan. Waikato Regional Council holds a wealth of information collected over many years by staff and others. This information is being added to regularly by special investigations and through regular environmental monitoring.

Waikato Regional Council is continually adding to this wide body of knowledge, with a wide boy of science work being undertaken during the review. These pages will be updated as new material becomes available.
