Change in venue for Huntly drop in session on rivers

There has been a change in venue for this Thursday’s public drop in session in Huntly concerning the Waikato and Waipa rivers.

The event will now be held in the Huntly Civic Centre at 142 Main St, Huntly – it’s down the driveway between the library and the North Waikato News building. The evening will run from 7pm - 9.30pm. The switch in venue follows renovations needing to be done at the Huntly Memorial Hall.

As previously advised, the sessions around the region and an online survey are giving the public an early chance to have their say on the future of the Waikato and Waipa rivers.

The others remaining sessions are:

  • Hamilton: Hamilton Gardens Pavilion, Hamilton Gardens, Hamilton – 7pm - 9.30pm, Monday 13 April
  • Otorohanga: Otorohanga Club, 107 Maniapoto St, Otorohanga – 7pm - 9.30pm, Wednesday 15 April.

The online survey is running until 30 April at www.waikatoregion.govt.nz/healthyrivers
