About the proposal

Peter Bull and Joe Davies (on behalf of Ngati Hei) have applied for a resource consent to erect, use and occupy CMA space with spat catching structures for a spat catching farm at Whauwhau in Mercury Bay. The farm will consist of 3 blocks with an area of 10 hectares each.

Any person may make a submission on the above application, but a person who is a trade competitor of the applicant may do so only if that person is directly affected by an effect of the activity to which the application relates that:

  1. adversely affects the environment; and
  2. does not relate to trade competition or the effects of trade competition.
